The MDH Sheeter is designed for paper converters and folding carton operations that require nimble production capacity. Whether configured for fine paper or board production, the dual rotary sheeting machine can be outfitted with productivity enhancing components that boost output without increasing crew size.

The sheeter’s compact footprint begins with quick loading roll stands, dancer rolls, decurling units, and web steering to ensure smooth web flow into the cutter infeed with convenient operator controls.

The dual rotary cutter is outfitted with easily positioned slitters and a pull roll section that features a large diameter draw drum to eliminate length variation caused by ‘stair cut’.

The rugged, twin solid knife revolvers feature a unique blade adjustment that allows fine tuning of the cross cut blades and lets knife changes be completed in less than 2 hours. The cutoff range can be sized for the digital sheet market (11″ (280 mm) minimum sheet length) or the ultra large format (up to 126″ (3200 mm)) sizes.

The delivery system includes a reject gate and a unique method of controlling the leading and trailing edge of the sheet packet at the point of overlap. The use of air and a ‘tapes over the pile’ feature provide jam free flow into the stacker, even on light weight, static prone and extended length sheets. To aid in quick size changes, the Operator adjusts both the delivery system and stacker at the same time.

The high capacity stacker uses a ‘pile offset’ feature that eliminates the need to re-jog piles and includes the ability to change skids without stopping the sheeter.

Further with a Customer supplied Internet connection, the electrical system of your MDH Sheeter can be monitored remotely by Maxson Automatic Machinery Company’s Customer Service Department in Westerly at a moment’s notice. Troubleshooting, programming downloads, and other diagnostic actions can be accomplished from a distance.
